SCROLL DOWN TO READ EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE COLOR RUN!
The Merton Color Run is a 14 day fundraiser, with the Color Run Event taking place on 10/29/2025. Families will be getting donations for the laps their student completes at the Merton Color Run. Funds raised from this event go toward the remaining turf soccer field funds, classroom supplies, teacher requests, and student needs! Our goal is to raise $45,000.
The fundraising system itself will remain open until November 7, 2025.
1.) Log in or Sign up on MyBooster.com
2.) Enter your (parent) information, NOT your student's information.
3.) Search for Merton. It pulls up Merton Primary & Intermediate Schools.
4.) Enter your student's first name & last name.
From the drop-down, select their classroom teacher / homeroom teacher.
Click "Add Student".
If you need to add another student to your family, you'll click "Yes" and repeat Registering your Student.

6.) To review your student profile(s), scroll down a bit on the main dashboard to see their photos and/or name.
Click on the icon to edit their information.
7.) Inside of your student's account, you can edit any of the information here.
If you have more than one student in your family, you can check "Enable Family Pledging" which allows you (as a parent) to share one family donation page for all of your students. Donors can make one single donation which is split equally between your students.
Edit the amount your student would like to set as their Donation Goal Per Lap. (As a default, we've set all students to earn 35 laps at the Color Run event whether they actually run that amount or not).
Edit the Donation Page Message if you'd like, or leave it as is.
Press "Save" to get back to the main Dashboard.
8.) Back on the Main Dashboard, you can scroll down to view more information about the Fundraiser.

One that's super fun is "Share Student Star Video". The system takes the photo you've uploaded of your student and creates a video that you can share out to your network.
9.) Share out your student / family link.
THANKS for helping us reach our goal!
If you need help with any part of this Registration process, reach out to us: fundraising@mertonpto.org and we'll get you squared away!
As an individual student, you can work to earn incentives based on how much you are able to earn.

Work together with your classmates to earn classroom incentives!
The number of students registered and dollars earned and (recorded individually through the BoosterThon website) will feed into each classroom's efforts. No additional record-keeping is needed; everything will calculate automatically.
If a class is eligible for a classroom incentive, the teacher will be notified and will select (and announce to parents & students) what day that incentive will be awarded. This allows for the teacher to best accommodate their class's schedule.
To celebrate the success of our fundraiser, all students, parents, and community members are invited to participate in the Color Run Event on Wednesday, October 29, 2025!
The Color Run Event will be held on the front lawn of Merton Primary School. Parents may park in the lots at Merton Primary (front lot & back lot), at Merton Intermediate, and across the street at St. John's church. Please RSVP here if you plan to join us.
Parents & Guardians will have the opportunity to buy extra color to toss on your kid for $5 per cup.
SCHEDULE:
Intermediate Grades (5th - 8th) will run from 2:00 - 2:45PM. Intermediate kids will stay outside to cheer on the Primary grades.
Primary Grades (4K - 4th) will run from 2:45PM - 3:45PM.
Students will be dismissed directly from the Color Run. Students will be allowed back into the buildings to grab their personal items from a common area. (We are trying to avoid chalk getting on the carpet in the classrooms!)
Do you plan to come to the Color Run? Let us know by RSVPing through this form.

Be sure to include the name of the student in the memo so we can give proper credit.

Each kid will earn incentives individually and as part of their classroom effort.
We've set a goal that we think will are totally achievable. Everything is a group effort!

Yes, even kindergartners! The Outdoor Color Run track is about 1/16th of a mile, 1/4 the size of a normal high school track. The average student will complete 30-35 laps and have a goal to complete at least 30 laps.
Students will be counted for a maximum of 35 laps.
Yes! All flat donations count toward getting prizes. A $35 donation is the same as $1 per lap. A $70 donation is the same as $2 per lap, etc.
We recommend Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
Families can send in cash or check in an envelope labeled with their student's name and teacher's name. The PTO team will input this donation amount into the student's account so they can get credit for it toward individual and classroom incentives.
Sponsors will be prompted to pay online for all donations, even per lap donations. Sponsors will receive an email after the Merton Color Run with the amount of their payment based on how many laps were completed.
Alternatively, Sponsors may write a check to the Merton PTO. It can be delivered to Merton Primary School (attn: Merton PTO) or mailed to:
