Ticket sales CLOSE at 9PM on Thursday, February 26.
But don't worry! - you can still come to the dance if you miss signing up! Parents just need to sign a paper permission slip at the Dance!
A dance JUST for Merton Intermediate students. 5th - 8th Graders only. No parents. No younger kids. Just you, your friends, and an awesome night to remember!
We sent out a survey to ask you what you wanted. Maybe it's no surprise that the vote was 50% for Black & White, and 50% for Valentine's Day ...... so we're going to do a blend of both!
Expect: Black and white decor with pops of red and pink flowers and hearts.
Black & White, or add pops of color. Keep it chill or go all out—just make sure you're matching the aesthetic. Preferred Semi-Formal, but you do you. We don't care if you want to be fancy or sweatpants-y.
DJ Matthew has a list of the music you requested via the survey, and is available to take requests on demand. No slow dances, no awkwardness—just the music you actually listen to.
The Arrowhead High School National Honor Society (NHS) is graciously providing a great group of student volunteers, but we could still use your help to make this event a hit for the kids!
We need adult volunteers for:
Snack Bar Prep / Service
Setting up / Tearing Down
Chaperone at the Dance
Journalistic-Style Photographer(s)
If you'd like to lend an (adult) hand, please use the Volunteer Sign-up link below.
Merton Intermediate ONLY (5th - 8th Grade). No primary kids. No parents (except a few of the coolest chaperones to make sure everyone stays safe!)
This one is up to you! Expect some people to go "all out" with semi-formal outfits that are all black or white (or a combination) or outfits that bring a pop of color to the night. You may prefer "fancy" clothes, or you can be more "sweatpants-y". You choose what's comfortable for you ..... as long as it follows school dress code.
No, you do not need to order your food in advance. We'll have hot dogs, chips, soda, bottled water, candy, and ice cream. Bring cash!!
If you have completed the registration, you DO NOT need to come in to the building to drop your student(s) off.
If you DO not complete the online registration, WALK-IN attendees ARE welcome; we need to to come in to the building to sign a permission slip.
PICK-UP: ALL parents need to come into the building to collect their student(s) personally. We want to be sure that every student is safely getting home with their known adult. Thank you!
