We are looking for a passionate leader who loves being creative and organized in developing awesome fundraising events to benefit our schools. The right person for this job is able to take the lead managing a group of volunteers who already have raised their hands and WANT to help, and that person will also work closely with the Executive Board. You'll lead your team with (at least) monthly Committee meetings - these can be in-person or virtual....or a combination!, participate in our monthly Board of Directors meeting, and attend our monthly General Meeting to present your Committee's activities and progress.

The Merton PTO Events Committee is one of the largest committees in the organization because we have so many opportunities to develop fun and engaging events for our students and families. The Events Committee leads family-friendly events and activities that are not meant to be fundraisers; instead, they're simply meant to promote a sense of community. What Events do you have in mind? Be a key part of the Merton PTO's mission by contributing to the Fundraising Committee. You'll collaborate with other passionate and creative parents and teachers to brainstorm and execute the most brilliant fundraisers to generate funds for the Merton PTO. The Fundraising Committee typically holds two larger fundraisers: one in the fall, and one in the spring. This year's group is also planning to develop additional fundraisers throughout the rest of the year to support smaller specific projects.
