Simply scroll to your student's grade level and add the appropriate kit to your cart. Depending on your student's grade & electives, they may need a few items that are NOT included in the kit. Take a look at the list below.
All products are brand-name. The items included in the kits have been cross-referenced and fulfill the requirements as requested by Merton School teachers. Feel free to read through the Frequently Asked Questions here.
Once your order is placed, you can RELAX! Your kit will be delivered directly to school to your child's classroom and will be ready for your student by Open House (August 27). Alternatively, if you'd like to pick up your kit before Open House, we will send you an email to let you know the kits have arrived (expected the week of August 22) and you can come to school to get it.

FAQs
Q: What are the brand names used in the kits?
A: We use only name brand products to give each child the best quality products such as Crayola, Elmers, Mead, Papermate and Prang. You can view the individual products within the kit.
Q: Is the website safe & secure?
A: Yes, the shopping cart uses a secure, industry standard transaction method.
Q: Will my information be sold?
A: Absolutely NOT …. No Way! Everything, every data, every piece of information you provide to the 1st Day Company is strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold to anyone.
Q: What is the cut-off date to order?
A: Orders for Merton School must be placed by Midnight on XXX.
Q: What if I have a product that's damaged or my kit is missing something?
A: The packing/shipping process at 1st Day is proven to be reliable, but mistakes and/or accidents can happen! If you find your kit to be missing supplies or something is damaged, please reach out to vp@mertonpto.org with your student's name, grade, and the missing/damaged items. 1st Day will overnight the supplies to make sure they're here in time for school!
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes, 1st Day offers 100% guarantee on all of their products. They want all of their customers to be extremely satisfied with everything. Returns are accepted with a $15 restocking fee since each order is custom made per school/grade. Products need to be in original packaging and not opened. If the fundraising profit has been paid to the school, the fundraising profit would be deducted from the final payment to the customer since school has received payment. (In the case of Merton School, the fundraising fee is $5).
Q: Is there a premium / mark-up to a kit?
A: The pricing in the 1st Day kits is competitive to what you would pay in a Big Box store. The only additional fee you'll find is a $5 fundraising fee which will go fully and directly to the Merton PTO. Please consider this $5 a donation in appreciation for the convenience of having your supplies delivered directly to school! :)
Q: What's the benefit to ordering online?
A: Certainly you can expect to save time and limit frustration in finding your supplies at the store. Additionally, $5 from each kit will go directly to the Merton PTO to support our school's staff and student needs. Thank you for your support!
